Dr. Brittany Staples

    Dr. Staples was born in Los Angeles, CA, and was raised in Denver, CO. She graduated from the University of Colorado, earning a Bachelor of Science with a major in psychology and a minor in chemistry. She attended the Western University of Health Sciences in Southern California for her medical schooling where she held the position of both class president, as well as student body president over the 9 health professions colleges comprising the university.

    Dr. Staples attended her medical and surgical residency training in St. Louis at SSM DePaul Hospital under the directorship of Drs. Visser and Quiroga, where she received comprehensive forefoot and rearfoot/ankle reconstructive surgical training. She held the position of Chief Resident in her third year at DePaul. She is currently surgically board qualified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine.

    She has been published in the Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery as well as Podiatry Today and published multiple ACFAS literature reviews. She is on staff at SSM DePaul Hospital, SSM St. Clare Hospital, Mercy Hospital – Washington and Mercy Hospital-St. Louis.
